Areas under the influence of the Railroad Company are subject to the following laws. Violators are sent to the nearest regional court for a hearing before the judges, who then order the guilty to either serve in the labor camps, be locked away in a prison, or sentenced to death in public executions.

Only women are allowed to own businesses.
Magical use and study are both banned completely. All inventions require scientific methods.
Religion is banned. Science is recognized as the only higher power.
The Railroad Company is the only faction allowed to raise an army or policing force.
All newborns are to be tested for innate magic and executed if confirmed to have it.
Dreamlands, The Dead Steppes, The Living Marsh, The Rolling Hills, Original Cresh, STEM Lands, and Industrial Fountain are each allowed one duly elected representative to serve on the governing council for The World of Cresh.
Adventuring licenses are granted only to women. Male adventures must have a female leader of their parties to maintain legality.
In the absence of concrete physical evidence of crimes where a female's word is pitted against a male's, the court will always side with the female's version of events.
All females are allowed to insult and degrade men in public to remind men of their inferiority.
Women are allowed to marry and have as many partners as they wish. Men committing infidelity are to be tar and feathered in public.
All other rules and regulations are deferred to local governing bodies of their regions.
Hunting is permitted but not allowed to exceed 600 pounds of meat per person per year
Fishing is allowed but fish under 6 inches in length must be tossed back into the water and not kept or eaten
Men are allowed to wander freely provided they follow the world license laws if they go adventuring
Diving to the depths of Mystic Lake is prohibited

Naming of farm animals is not allowed outside of dogs or cats
Men are subject to full body and cavity inspections randomly to ensure they carry no contraband
Hallucinogenic drugs are banned unless recreationally used by Railroad Company officials only.
Aliens from outer space are not allowed to leave the Nexus Launchpad and its market
All new inventions are to be registered with the Railroad Company and designs must be available for all citizens to view and use.
Dumping of toxic waste is only permitted by factories
All workers must wear protective equipment when handling chemicals
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to be employed outside of household maid services
Men are subject to random home and personal inventory searches for contraband (anything deemed dangerous to the Railroad Company)
Work shifts are not permitted to last more than 10 hours with a 1-hour mandatory break period.
