Graveyard

Rosewick Graveyard contains several centuries of the town's history. Many old family names found on the headstones still belong to people living in Rosewick today, while others have disappeared entirely. Dates, family connections and inscriptions on the older graves can occasionally contradict official records preserved elsewhere in town.

The oldest section predates many surviving municipal records. Several graves have become unreadable, while others bear unfamiliar symbols or markings whose original meanings have been forgotten. Some belong to old witch or hunter bloodlines, though nothing on the stones openly identifies them as such.

A handful of old family crypts stand throughout the cemetery. Most are locked, damaged or rarely opened, and generations of belongings, burial records, letters or other forgotten objects may remain inside. The chapel also preserves old funeral registers that can sometimes reveal information missing from Rosewick's official archives.

Witches may find the graveyard particularly sensitive to Spirit. Generations of death, grief and memory have left countless echoes behind, but sensing something among the graves does not necessarily mean a conscious ghost is present. Some spirits may communicate, while others leave only fragments of emotion, memory or sensation.
