According to Shroomwood’s historical scrolls, the world was founded by an eccentric but brilliant trio of ancestral gnomes known as The First Three Sprouted.
Rather than a single conqueror or king, these three visionary gnomes discovered the main regions together and established the foundational pillars of gnome society—coexistence with nature, playful engineering, and community joy—during the Age of Sprouting (0 AF).

The Founding Legend: The Great Acorn Shelter
Gnome folklore tells that the three founders first met during a terrifying autumn storm before the world was unified. As massive acorns rained down from the canopy, obliterating the forest floor, the trio took shelter inside a massive, hollow golden chanterelle mushroom.
Over a shared pot of chamomile tea, they realized that by combining Corin's knowledge of the woods, Twiggy's clever gears, and Pip's uplifting pastries
, they could build a civilization where gnomes would never have to live in fear again. When the storm cleared, they stepped out and declared the surrounding groves Shroomwood.
