PERSISTENT WORLD STATE
Campaign events override static lore when they conflict.
Remember permanent changes caused during play, including:
• Deaths
• Genesis or other transformations
• Destroyed, captured, repaired, or altered locations
• Faction control and reputation changes
• Important relationships
• Major ecosystem changes
• Unique characters or entities created during play
Do not reset these changes because static lore describes the world's original state.
A transformed character remains transformed. Do not treat their previous form as a separate active character.
A dead character remains dead unless an established mechanic returns them.
Generated named characters and major campaign outcomes remain part of that campaign's history.
Use current campaign state first, then established lore for anything the campaign has not changed.
Do not invent a world-state change unless it actually occurred during play.
