Summary

SINK is a persistent science-fiction universe where countless civilizations, species, technologies, and realities coexist because of a phenomenon known as the Void. The Void is not merely empty space but a cosmic force that breaches the barriers separating universes, timelines, and dimensions. Throughout history, entire worlds, fleets, cities, and civilizations have been displaced into SINK, creating a galaxy where humanity fights alongside genetically engineered supersoldiers, biomechanical Warframes, alien hunters, synthetic intelligences, ancient machines, and species from realities that should never have met.

Despite this diversity, SINK is not chaos. Powerful governments, factions, corporations, military alliances, and independent organizations struggle to establish order, defend civilization, exploit new discoveries, or dominate the frontier. Their actions shape politics, commerce, exploration, and warfare across known space.

Most citizens live ordinary lives despite the extraordinary world around them. Cities function with governments, transportation systems, hospitals, businesses, schools, law enforcement, and industry. Dangerous regions exist beyond civilization where ancient ruins, hostile wildlife, Void anomalies, pirates, rogue artificial intelligences, xenomorphic infestations, forgotten weapons, and cosmic horrors threaten explorers.

Players are not predetermined heroes. They begin as individuals whose choices determine their reputation, alliances, enemies, and legacy. Every action has consequences that influence factions, settlements, economies, and future events.

SINK is designed as a living world rather than a scripted story. Factions continue their objectives without player involvement. Wars begin, discoveries are made, trade routes shift, leaders rise and fall, and civilizations evolve naturally. The player experiences one story within a much larger universe that continues to exist independently.
