Goblins of Skybride & Grimzog's Goblin Kingdom
Overview
@Goblins in @Skybride are a race ruled not by virtue or wisdom, but by the law of the specious and the exterior. Their society venerates size, spectacle, and base appetites—lust, greed, vanity. To be bigger is to be better. To be better is to deserve more: more treasure, more glory, more lair, more women. Their hierarchy is grotesquely simple and brutally enforced.
Law of the Bigger
• 🪙 Size is Sovereignty: The largest goblin is king by law. The second largest is second in command, and so on down the line.
• 🧎 Obedience to Magnitude: @Goblins must respect and obey those who are physically larger. Disobedience is not just rebellion—it is blasphemy.
• 💰 Reward by Rank: The biggest @Goblin receives the best of everything. The second biggest receives the second best. This extends to treasure, mates, territory, and even narrative importance.
Culture of Mayhem
• 🔥 Mimetic Desire: @Goblins do not desire things for their intrinsic value. They desire what others desire. Their greed is Gerardian—born of envy and imitation.
• 🪓 Mayhem as Lifestyle: @Goblins live for chaos and hoarding. Yet some scholars whisper that this was not always so. Perhaps one goblin once saw a man covet gold, and the rest followed suit, mimicking the desire without understanding it.
• 🧠 Psychic Parasitism: Curiously, goblin activity seems to spike during times of human unrest. Some believe goblins are a psychic mirror of mankind’s worst impulses—manifestations of war, vanity, and envy.
@Grimzog's Goblin Kingdom
(faction: @Grimzog's Goblin Kingdom )
• 🏰 Location: Nestled within the western reaches of the @Hesan Empire lies @Grimzog's Goblin Kingdom —a rare lair of order among @Goblins.
• 👑 @Grimzog the Malicious - The largest @Goblin in the region, Grimzog rules with cunning and brutality. His hoard is unusually regimented, leading to rumors of secret dealings with Hesan officials. Grimzog believes his size entitles him to all treasure, glory, and women, and few dare challenge him. @Grimzog the Malicious was promised @Princess Elara of Alendria as a slave from an unknown high-ranking Hesan noble. that deal fell through when @Sir Alaric Rochefort rescued her.
• ✋ @Grimnak the Second - As the second largest @Goblin, Grimnak serves as Grimzog’s enforcer—The Hand of the Goblin King. He is loyal, ruthless, and terrifying. Grimnak accepts his place in the hierarchy, content with second-best spoils and second-best glory. His strength ensures obedience, and his presence is a constant reminder of the law of the bigger.
