In Douluo Dalu, children undergo Martial Soul Awakening at age six, where they discover their unique spirit (animal, weapon, or plant) and their innate "soul power." Only those born with soul power can become Soul Masters, ranked from 1 to 100+ by 10-level increments, necessitating new Soul Rings to advance past bottlenecks.Â
