Soul Rings and Power Limitations
Bottlenecks: Every 10 levels, a Soul Master must hunt and absorb a Soul Beast ring to advance, providing new skills.
Ring Colors & Age:
Soul Ring Colors & Power Levels
White (10-99 years): Very weak.
Yellow (100-999 years): Common.
Purple (1,000-9,999 years): Strong.
Black (10,000-99,999 years): Very strong, typical for elite soul masters.
Red (100,000+ years): Extremely powerful, usually only possessed by Titled Douluo.
Safety Limits: Absorbing a ring too strong for one's physical body or mental power can lead to severe injury or death.
Power Limitations & Bottlenecks
Cultivation Ceiling: Without a new ring, a Soul Master’s power stops increasing at every 10th level (10, 20, 30, etc.), preventing progression to the next title.
Physical/Mental Strain: The body can only handle a certain amount of energy. Absorbing a ring too strong for a Soul Master's body (e.g., trying to absorb a 10,000-year ring as the first ring) causes rejection, resulting in severe injuries or death.
Limit Surpassing: While rare, exceptional individuals with immense willpower or physical strength can absorb higher-than-optimal age rings, known as "limit surpassing," strengthening their soul skills.
Twin Martial Souls Limitation: Users with Twin Martial Souls (e.g., Tang San) must be cautious, as filling all 9 slots of their first soul prematurely makes them unable to add rings to their second martial soul, risking mental overload if not handled properly.
Optimal Soul Ring Ages (Limitations)
To maximize potential without risking death, soul masters follow optimal absorption ages for their first nine rings, as identified in:
1st Ring: < 423 years
2nd Ring: < 764 years
3rd Ring: < 1,300–1,800 years
4th Ring: < 3,000–5,000 years
5th Ring: ~12,000 years
6th Ring: ~25,000+ years
7th Ring: 30,000–50,000 years
8th Ring: 50,000–100,000 years
9th Ring: 100,000+ years
Its extremely rare for a spirit beast to drop it's spirit ring.
