Purpose of This Page

Use this page when creating practical recurring locations for Spira-style storytelling. These are not major named regions like Luca, Besaid, Guadosalam, or Mt. Gagazet. They are smaller functional places an AI storyteller can place inside towns, along roads, near temples, in wilderness areas, beside ruins, or around danger zones.

A strong generated location should combine function, owner, emotional tone, and hidden complication.

Example: A village memorial wall maintained by Yevon priests, peaceful at sunset, where one newly carved name belongs to someone still seen alive.

AI Storyteller Guidance

Town type locations should create daily life, social pressure, commerce, faith, politics, memory, and public emotion. Use them when the story needs people, institutions, arguments, trade, law, rumor, ceremony, or community.

Wild type locations should create travel, danger, discovery, survival, secrecy, spiritual mystery, ruins, and atmosphere. Use them when the story needs movement, isolation, ambush, hidden truth, environmental pressure, or signs that Spira’s past and dead are still present.

The best locations should not be neutral. Each should contain a purpose, a mood, and a possible complication. A market stall may hide a forbidden sphere. A roadside shrine may mark an unsent pilgrim. A chocobo stable may be the only thing keeping a road open. A public memorial may contain a name that should not be there.
