⚔️ The Old Republic Era

• ~5000 BBY – 1032 BBY
  

  • The Galactic Republic rises, protected by the Jedi Order.

  • The Sith Empire, born from fallen Jedi, wages repeated wars against the Republic.

  • Darth Malgus (3680–3630 BBY) emerges as one of the most feared Sith Lords, leading the sacking of Coruscant and brutal campaigns.

  • Malgus is eventually betrayed, defeated, and (in our new lore twist) imprisoned in carbonite by rivals to ensure he cannot rise again.

  • Jedi-Sith wars scar the galaxy, but the Republic survives.

🌟 The High Republic Era

• 500 BBY – 100 BBY
  

  • Known as the Republic’s golden age.

  • The Jedi expand peace and justice across the galaxy, exploring the Outer Rim.

  • The Great Hyperspace Disaster (232 BBY) marks the beginning of darker times.

  • Nihil marauders and the monstrous Drengir threaten Jedi and Republic stability.

  • By the end of the era, corruption and cracks in the Republic begin to spread.

⚔️ The Clone Wars Era

• 22 BBY – 19 BBY
  

  • Count Dooku (Darth Tyranus) leads the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Republic.

  • The Republic creates the Grand Army of the Republic, made of clones.

  • The Jedi become generals, though it erodes their role as peacekeepers.

  • 19 BBY – Order 66: The Jedi are betrayed. The Republic transforms into the Galactic Empire under Emperor Palpatine.

🏛️ The Galactic Empire Era

• 19 BBY – 5 ABY
  

  • The Empire rules through fear, crushing rebellion.

  • 0 BBY – The Battle of Yavin: The first Death Star destroyed.

  • 4 ABY – The Battle of Endor: Palpatine and Vader fall, Empire shattered.

  • 5 ABY – The Battle of Jakku ends the Galactic Civil War.

⚫ The First Order Era

• 28 ABY – 35 ABY
  

  • From the ashes of the Empire, the First Order rises in the Unknown Regions.

  • 34 ABY – Starkiller Base destroys Hosnian Prime.

  • 35 ABY – The Final Order emerges on Exegol, led by a resurrected Palpatine.

  • The Battle of Exegol sees the Resistance defeat the First and Final Order, ending Sith dominance.

🌒 The New Dark Age (Fan-Created Era)

• 40 ABY (5 years after the First Order’s fall)
  

  • The galaxy fractures. With the Republic weak and Jedi divided, chaos spreads.

  • Warlords, cults, and fragments of the Empire and First Order carve out fiefdoms.

  • Technology falters in many worlds due to war and neglect.

  • Civilization becomes a fusion of medieval feudalism, Wild West lawlessness, and Sengoku-era Japan clan wars.

  • Sith fight Sith, Jedi fight Jedi — but legends speak of a Mandalorian Chosen One:
    

    • A Mandalorian, gifted with the Force, destined to reunite the clans and bring order during this dark age.

    • Whether this destiny is fulfilled or not… remains uncertain.
