Laws of Reality (World Rules)

Laws of Reality (World Rules)

These are not “rules of magic” but the fundamental constraints of existence. They apply to all beings, including gods, across both
Lux Spirit and Selenath.

They originate from the stabilizing structure of the Sacred Crystal, shaped by the balance between
Delannie and Mortas.

⚖️ 1. The Law of Balance (Primary Law)

Nothing can exist indefinitely without opposition.

  • Every force generates its counterforce

  • Growth creates decay

  • Light creates shadow

  • Order creates entropy

✔ This is why Lux Spirit and Selenath exist as mirrored systems
❌ No absolute dominance can be permanent

🔁 2. The Law of Conversion

All energy must change form, never vanish.

  • Life becomes death → becomes memory → becomes energy again

  • Magic cannot be destroyed, only transformed

  • Souls are cycles, not endpoints

✔ Explains reincarnation, undead systems, phoenix cycles
❌ True “annihilation” is impossible

🧠 3. The Law of Perception-Driven Reality

Reality is partially shaped by collective belief.

  • Strong belief alters magical stability

  • Civilizations can “lock in” natural laws locally

  • Myths can become semi-real over time

✔ Explains divine influence and prophecy systems
❌ Reality is not fully subjective—Crystal structure limits it

🕯️ 4. The Law of Divine Limitation

Gods influence reality, but do not own it.

Even Delannie and Mortas cannot:

  • directly rewrite the Sacred Crystal

  • erase the opposing principle completely

  • act outside systemic balance without consequence

✔ Gods are “system operators,” not absolute creators

🌌 5. The Law of Resonance

Everything exists through frequency alignment.

  • Life forms exist because they “match” a frequency band

  • Magic only works when resonance is stable

  • Cross-realm travel requires frequency adaptation

✔ Explains magic casting, evolution, and corruption
❌ Mismatch leads to instability or mutation

🧬 6. The Law of Adaptation

No being remains unchanged under sustained influence.

  • Exposure to opposing realms causes transformation

  • Species evolve based on environment + magic pressure

  • Identity is not fixed, only stabilized temporarily

✔ Explains hybrid beings, corruption, Greyborn anomalies
❌ No race is permanently static

⏳ 7. The Law of Temporal Flow

Time is directional but not uniform.

  • Time flows differently in Lux Spirit vs Selenath

  • High magic density distorts temporal speed

  • Memory can persist beyond physical time

✔ Explains phoenix rebirth memory, undead persistence
❌ Time travel is extremely restricted and unstable

🔒 8. The Law of Boundaries (Realm Separation Law)

Realms resist full merging.

  • Lux Spirit and Selenath are locked in structural opposition

  • Crossing requires energy conversion (not simple travel)

  • Permanent fusion of realms triggers collapse risk

✔ Explains Veiled Rift instability
❌ Prevents full world recombination

💀 9. The Law of Consequence (Sacrificial Law)

Every powerful action removes something equivalent.

  • Healing may consume lifespan or memory

  • Large-scale magic destabilizes the caster or region

  • Divine actions create systemic ripple costs

✔ Ensures balance is maintained even at extreme power levels
❌ No “free” miracles exist

⚔️ 10. The Law of Conflict (Existence Engine)

Growth requires tension between opposing forces.

  • Without conflict, systems stagnate

  • Without opposition, evolution stops

  • Even peace is temporary equilibrium, not final state

✔ Justifies ongoing Lux Spirit vs Selenath tension
❌ Eternal peace is structurally impossible

🧩 Core Truth of Reality

All laws converge into one principle:

Terdan does not allow perfection—only stable imbalance.

Final Insight

The world exists because:

  • Delannie pushes toward life and expansion

  • Mortas enforces limitation and transformation

And the Sacred Crystal does not choose between them.

It simply ensures:

neither can ever fully win.
