Terdan is a dual-aspected world shaped by the aftermath of the Crystal War, a cataclysm that split reality into two opposing yet connected realms: Lux Spirit and Selenath. These realms are bound through unstable leylines and the ancient gateway known as the Portal of the Veiled Rift.
A radiant, living realm of harmony, nature, and divine light magic.
Eldarum – capital of Light Elves and political center
Lumin Lotus Citadel – Beatrix’s divine lotus-formed palace
Skyward Garden – aerial gardens and sacred nature zones
Aqualis – underwater kingdom of the oceans
Sylvara – deep forests rich in natural magic
Lumina Sanctum – spiritual and ritual center
A cursed, structured realm of shadow, decay, and controlled power.
Noxterra – obsidian city ruled by Azreal
Noctyrium Spire – central seat of dark power
Deadwood Expanse – lifeless twisted woods
Ashen Wastes – barren, scorched land
Bloodveil Rivers – corrupted magical waterways
Abyssal Depths – tunnels of undead and ancient ruins
Shadow Coast – fog-covered shores of dark waters
Before the Crystal War, Terdan existed as a single balanced realm where light and shadow coexisted naturally. The war shattered this balance when powerful factions attempted to control the Sacred Crystal, the source of all magic.
The result:
Reality split into Lux Spirit (light, harmony, growth)
And Selenath (shadow, control, decay)
However, the split was incomplete.
Both realms remain linked through leyline systems and the Veiled Rift, meaning:
Actions in one realm subtly affect the other
Certain beings (like Beatrix) can resonate with both sides
True balance—or total domination—is still possible
Terdan exists in a state of unstable equilibrium:
Lux Spirit seeks harmony and preservation
Selenath seeks control and domination
At the center of this tension are key figures like
Beatrix Avery and Azreal Montgomery
—whose connection may determine whether Terdan is reunited… or permanently divided.
Terdan is not two worlds.
It is one broken world, still deciding what it will become.
