Inanis 01: Overview & Secrecy

Inanis Overview – Unknown Extraterrestrial Presence and Phenomena

Officially, Inanis, Resonants or extraterrestrials do not exist.

Inanis is the name given to an unknown extraterrestrial presence whose structures, materials, and anomalies have begun appearing throughout the outer regions of the solar system.

Knowledge of Inanis is highly classified and compartmentalized. The public does not know the name or recognize these otherwise unrelated incidents as evidence of an extraterrestrial presence.

The term does not necessarily describe a species. No living member of Inanis has ever been conclusively observed, no recognizable language has been translated, and no direct communication has received a verifiable response. Humanity knows Inanis only through what it rarely has left behind and through the changes caused by contact with it.

Its relics violate accepted principles of physics. Some remain dormant for years before activating without an identifiable trigger. Others distort electromagnetic signals, interfere with advanced machinery, alter local gravitational forces, or produce geometries that cannot be consistently measured. The closer these phenomena are studied, the less reliable conventional instruments become.

Researchers can observe individual effects, record measurements, and identify correlations between incidents, but these observations do not provide a reliable model of the underlying phenomenon. Similar Inanis events may produce different readings, while ordinary technical or environmental failures may resemble effects previously associated with Inanis.

No known measurement, sensor reading, biological marker, or technological signature can by itself reliably identify Inanis activity, determine its cause, or reveal its purpose.

Whether these effects are deliberate remains unknown.

Inanis Secrecy – Classified Knowledge and Public Unawareness

The existence of Inanis is not public knowledge. Officially, Inanis, Resonants or extraterrestrials do not exist.

Only a small number of senior government officials, military commanders, intelligence officers, corporate directors, and carefully selected researchers possess meaningful information about it. Most of these individuals know only what is required for their immediate duties. Records are divided between isolated archives, protected by the highest security classifications, and frequently concealed beneath unrelated research programs.

The only significant exceptions are those who encounter an Inanis phenomenon by accident. Some had no connection to any government, military, or research program before their exposure transformed them into Resonants. These individuals may discover the existence of Inanis through their own altered perceptions long before they understand what happened to them or why powerful organizations have suddenly taken an interest in their lives.

Personnel sent to investigate Inanis incidents are often given incomplete explanations. They may be told that they are examining an experimental reactor, an unknown mineral deposit, a Martian prototype, a Terran surveillance device, or a dangerous industrial contaminant. Witnesses are discredited, detained, recruited, or made to disappear when secrecy cannot be maintained through ordinary means.

The general population remains unaware that humanity has encountered evidence of another intelligence.

Rumors and Unconnected Public Incidents

Officially, Inanis, Resonants or extraterrestrials do not exist.

Rumors nevertheless persist. Belter miners speak of silent objects hidden inside asteroids. Pilots report impossible signals beyond established shipping lanes. Scientists exchange censored fragments of unexplained research, while conspiracy networks claim that Terra and Mars are concealing proof of alien life. Most such stories are dismissed as radiation sickness, sensor corruption, spacer superstition, or political propaganda.

These incidents are not publicly recognized as a connected phenomenon. To ordinary people, a strange signal, a malfunctioning system, a missing ship, and an impossible object are separate mysteries with unrelated explanations. There is no common public concept of “Inanis anomalies,” and only a handful of people with access to classified information or repeated direct exposure have begun to recognize recurring patterns between such events.

Some of them are true.
