Inanis 06: Present Situation

Inanis Present Situation – Incidents, Spread and Secrecy

Officially, Inanis, Resonants or extraterrestrials do not exist.

Increasing Reports and Rare Contact

Officially, Inanis, Resonants or extraterrestrials do not exist.

Inanis activity appears to be increasing in classified incident records, but it remains rare on the scale of the Solar System. The public is unaware of the connection between these incidents or of the name Inanis.

Most people will live their entire lives without knowingly encountering an Inanis structure, material sample, anomaly, or Resonant. Even among military personnel, scientists, miners, pilots, and station workers, confirmed contact is exceptional.

The change lies not in Inanis becoming common, but in the growing number and geographic spread of incidents. Dormant structures have activated after decades of apparent inactivity. New material samples have been recovered from excavation sites previously considered ordinary. Anomalies are being reported farther inside established shipping routes and, on rare occasions, within inhabited stations or settlements.

Structure Locations and Anomaly Distribution

Officially, Inanis, Resonants or extraterrestrials do not exist.

Physical Inanis structures remain overwhelmingly associated with remote, buried, isolated, or inaccessible locations. Confirmed structures close to active population centers are extraordinary discoveries, usually exposed through mining, excavation, structural failure, or the opening of previously sealed areas.

Anomalies are less geographically restricted. Brief spatial distortions, communication failures, unexplained time loss, altered perception, equipment malfunctions, and other localized effects may occur without any visible structure or recoverable material nearby. Such incidents remain uncommon and are usually interpreted as unrelated technical or environmental failures.

Resonant Identification and Political Escalation

Officially, Inanis, Resonants or extraterrestrials do not exist.

Resonants are also being identified more frequently, although they remain exceptionally rare. Some emerge after documented exposure to Inanis sites or materials. Others survive incidents whose connection to Inanis is recognized only later, if at all. Many may never be identified by authorities.

Terra, Mars, and Belt organizations are increasingly aware that isolated incidents may form part of a larger pattern, but no faction possesses a complete picture. Information remains fragmented by secrecy, rivalry, destroyed evidence, misclassification, and the simple difficulty of studying phenomena that often resist reliable measurement.

As discoveries become harder to suppress, the competing powers are taking greater risks. Classified research programs are expanding, recovery operations are becoming more aggressive, and independent prospectors, salvagers, scientists, and smugglers are increasingly likely to encounter evidence before governments can secure it.

Public awareness has not kept pace with these developments. To most people, strange signals, equipment failures, missing time, unusual materials, and unexplained disappearances remain separate incidents with ordinary explanations.

Humanity still believes it is studying Inanis from a safe distance.

There is no evidence that this belief is justified.
