@The Silence structures vary greatly in scale. Some are small enough to hold in one hand. Others extend beneath planetary surfaces or remain suspended in space without visible propulsion.
Their architecture is commonly composed of sharp symmetrical forms, incomplete circles, narrow spires, and cavities that appear larger inside than their external dimensions should permit. Surfaces may seem perfectly smooth from one angle and impossibly complex from another. Attempts to cut, melt, scan, or disassemble them produce inconsistent results.
Many structures appear inert. Others respond to nearby machines, human neural activity, or unknown environmental conditions. Activation events are usually accompanied by communication failures, spatial distortion, missing time, altered memories, or the sudden malfunction of advanced technology.
No clear purpose has been identified. What humanity describes as a structure might be a machine, a monument, a sensor, a seed, a prison, or something for which no human concept exists.
