The @Free Belt Coalition (FBC) possesses fewer formal laboratories but has greater access to remote regions where Silence artifacts are often discovered. @Belter prospectors, salvagers, and independent scientists regularly encounter phenomena before @Terra or @Mars can intervene. Some sell their discoveries. Others hide or destroy them.
None of the three powers fully trusts the others. Information is hoarded, operations are concealed, and Silence incidents are sometimes blamed on rival factions. This secrecy prevents humanity from forming a complete picture of what is happening.
