The Rise of The Absolute

Shortly after the crisis with Elturel, a new threat emerged. A mysterious cult known as the Absolute began abducting people off the streets and roads around Baldur's Gate, implanting them with illithid (mind flayer) tadpoles. These "True Souls" began building an army, aiming to conquer the city and the entire Sword Coast. A group of Hero kill the Netherbrain saving the city and Sword Coast from the cult.
