Veilwarden Class(Thalassara)

EILWARDEN
Holy sentinels who guard the oceanic veil, protect sailors, and stand against corruption from the deep. Veilwardens channel divine wards called Aegis Points and wield storm and tide magic.

AEGIS POINTS
You channel divine wards. You have a pool of Aegis Points that refresh on a long rest.

Aegis Effects (choose one when you activate it):

Tidal Ward
Reduce incoming damage by 1d6. This becomes 2d6 at level 11 and 3d6 at level 17.

Storm Rebuke
When a creature hits you, deal 1d8 lightning damage. This becomes 2d8 at level 11.

Pressure Shell
Gain temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + Wisdom modifier. This becomes 2d8 + Wisdom modifier at level 11.

VEIL SENSE
You can detect curses, planar tears, corruption, and undead within 30 feet as an action.

FIGHTING STYLE
Choose one:

Mariner
+1 AC while not wearing heavy armor. Your swim speed equals your walking speed.

Storm Spear
+2 damage with spears and tridents.

Guardian
+1 AC while using a shield.

SPELLCASTING
You gain spellcasting at level 2. You use Wisdom as your spellcasting ability. You follow half-caster progression similar to a Paladin.

AEGIS CHANNELING
You can activate an Aegis effect as a bonus action.

DIVINE SMITE
When you hit with a melee weapon attack, you may expend a spell slot to deal 2d8 radiant or lightning damage, plus 1d8 per slot level above 1st.

EXTRA ATTACK
You can attack twice when you take the Attack action.

DIVINE STRIKES
Your weapon attacks deal an extra 1d8 lightning or radiant damage. This becomes 2d8 at level 11.

AURA OF THE TIDES
Allies within 10 feet have advantage on checks to resist being shoved, grappled, knocked prone, or forcibly moved. This becomes 30 feet at level 14.

AURA OF CLARITY
Allies within 10 feet ignore magical fog, magical darkness, and illusions that obscure vision. This becomes 30 feet at level 18.

AVATAR OF THE VEIL
At level 20, you can transform for 1 minute. You gain a fly speed and swim speed of 60 feet, resistance to lightning, cold, and radiant damage, and your Divine Strikes deal 3d8 damage. You emit bright light in a 20-foot radius. You can use this once per long rest.

Choose one at level 3.

OATH OF THE TIDEKEEPER
Defensive, protective, anti-corruption.

Channel Oath
Sanctify Waters: Purify water in a 20-foot radius.
Aegis of Calm: Allies within 10 feet gain advantage against fear.

3rd: Sanctuary, Shield of Faith
5th: Lesser Restoration, Calm Emotions
9th: Beacon of Hope, Water Breathing
13th: Guardian of Faith
17th: Greater Restoration

Level 7 Feature
Bulwark of the Deep: Allies in your aura gain resistance to cold.

Level 15 Feature
Cleanse Corruption: End one curse or charm on a creature as an action.

Level 20 Feature
Tidekeeper’s Form: Allies within 30 feet gain +2 AC for 1 minute.

OATH OF THE STORMBOUND
Aggressive, lightning-charged, mobility.

Channel Oath
Storm Leap: Teleport 10 feet and deal 1d6 lightning damage.
Thunderbrand: Your weapon deals thunder damage for 1 minute.

Oath Spells
3rd: Thunderwave, Fog Cloud
5th: Shatter, Gust of Wind
9th: Call Lightning
13th: Storm Sphere
17th: Destructive Wave

Level 7 Feature
Stormstride: Your movement increases by 10 feet.

Level 15 Feature
Lightning Soul: You gain resistance to lightning and thunder damage.

Level 20 Feature
Tempest Avatar: Your attacks deal an extra 1d10 lightning damage for 1 minute.

OATH OF THE ABYSSAL WATCHER
Dark, void-banishing, fear-inducing.

Channel Oath
Abyssal Rebuke: Deal psychic damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
Voidbrand: Your weapon deals psychic damage for 1 minute.

5th: Hold Person, Darkness
9th: Fear
13th: Banishment
17th: Enervation

Level 7 Feature
Void Sight: You can see through magical darkness.

Level 15 Feature
Abyssal Resistance: You gain resistance to psychic damage.

Watcher’s Judgement: Creatures of your choice within 30 feet must make a Wisdom save or be frightened for 1 minute.
