Abjuration Classes
Classes tend to involve practical and/or written elements and culminate in some kind of exam. Abjuration Minors must take the two required courses and one Major course. Abjuration Majors must take all required classes and some electives, often focusing in either Defense or Healing.
Basic Level (Year 1-2):
Abjuration Basics: A required class covering the basics of Abjuration magic. A mixture of theory and practice. Includes a written and practical exam.
Required Major/Minor Courses:
Mana Cleansing and Fatigue Removal: A course focused on learning techniques for purging minor mana residue and restoring stamina. Involves both a written and practical exam.
Spells learned: @Purify Food and Drink, @Cleanse Corruption
Basic Shielding and Personal Wards: A course focusing on simple, often instantaneous barriers against physical and magical attacks. This class culminates in a practical exam and tests the application of students' various wards/barriers.

Required Major Courses:
Counter-Spell Theory and Timing: A class that focuses on learning how to identify the intent of hostile magic and counter or disrupt it. Involves a lot of application/practical learning and practice.

Magical Identification Bonus
Warding Architectonics: A class focused on long-lasting or permanent wards, often on structures and buildings, and how much pressure they can take. Involves both theory and practical work.

Basic Glyphs Learned
Advanced Life Stabilization: A class focused on healing a support such as mending bone, stopping blood loss, stabilizing a person, and critical healing.

Abjuration Electives (for Majors):
The Veil of Anti-Magic: Create localized fields that suppress non-Abjuration magic.
Spells learned: @Dispel Magic, @Antimagic Field
Personal Armor Generation: Learn how to create and sustain mobile, magical armor layers and different protection methods.
Spells learned: @Mage Armor, @Advanced Mage Armor, @Protection from Energy
Sustained Sanctuaries and Protection: Maintain a complex, large protective ward for prolonged periods.
Spells learned: @Guards and Wards
Complex Glyphs Learned
Reflexive Warding: Training to increase reaction time and cast defensive magic with little-to-no conscious thought.
Can cast a ward-based spell as a reaction.
Defensive Runes: Learn to design unique defensive symbols and glyphs.
Advanced Glyphs Learned
Hostile Ward Studies: Learn to properly analyze hostile magical wards to find weak points or dissipation methods.
Ward Modification and Dissipation/Disection
Localized Purification and Safety: Clean up sites of heavy magical influence and learn the tools of cleaning residual magical corruption.

Minor Vitality and Amplification: Learn how to imbue allies with temporary amplifications or vitality protections.

Large-scale Life Imbuement: Learn how to heal a larger number of people and properly and successfully maintain the energy output.
