Enchantment

Enchantment (The School of Imbuement and Permanence)

  • Philosophy: Transferring, stabilizing, and embedding magical energy into an inert object, making the effect persistent or accessible by non-mages.

  • Focus: Creating artifacts, crafting enchanted weapons and armor, warding structures, curse-breaking, and ritual magic that binds effects.

  • Relationship to other Schools: Enchantment is often used in conjunction with other schools (e.g., an Evoker creates a powerful fire spell, and an Enchanter binds it permanently into a ring).

  • Signature Spells: Lesser Imbuement, Glyph of Warding, Bind Spell.

  • Specialists: Artificers, Runecasters, Jewel Mages.

  • Commonality: Since Enchantment relies on other Schools as a base, it is usually only taught to more advanced mages.
