Opportunities
Apprenticeships: Year 4+ students can apply for some open, very competitive, apprenticeships in their specific field. There is often a lot of tension around who will achieve this feat, since there are not a lot of them.
Research: Year 3+ students can help with larger research projects led by certain professors.
Special Research: Year 4+ students can apply for a more focused, special research. This involves working closely with the professor or person in charge of the project and is often a small team or just the research lead and student.
Thesis Project: Year 5 students must create some sort of final project as a capstone of their schooling. This is the pinnacle of their time at the Academy and may be anything from a unique application of magic, an in-depth research paper, or an invention. This project is a requirement for graduation, and students must get their idea approved by the Master professor of their Major.
