Year 1

Year I: The Foundation Year (The 'Acolytes')

  • Focus: Basic Theory and Practical Control. Students learn fundamental mana manipulation, the history of magic (especially the dangers of the Sundering), arcane ethics, and elementary spellcasting.

  • Core Courses: Arcane Theory 101, Mana Conservation, Basic Transmutation, Introduction to Thaumaturgy (Spell Creation).

  • Goal: To prove the student can safely and consistently channel raw magic without causing undue harm or exhausting their reserves.
