The Artificial Sun

Located at @The Zenith Star-Dock, the Star-Engine is a massive arcane-mechanical gyroscope containing a fragment of the original sun, preserved by @High-Tinker Holly and her ancestors. It simulates a day/night cycle and provides the gravity-stabilizing field that keeps the tree upright.

The Steam-Grid

Heat is life. The Engine powers the massive brass pumps in @The Boiler-Bark Area. These pumps push super-heated sap-steam through the "Arteries"—the massive pipes running up the trunk.

• Warmth Radius: Within 30ft of a pipe, life is comfortable.

• The Chill: Beyond the pipes, the temperature drops lethal degrees instantly.

• Sabotage: @The Winter Baron seeks to sever these arteries, freezing the tree branch by branch.
