Perched above a reed-choked marsh, Barrowmere Hold was once a minor noble estate during the reign of King Ranser. Now its slate-roofed halls lie rotted and roofless, shrouded in creeping fog from the mire below. The family that ruled here vanished during Ranser’s War, and some say they never truly left—bound by a failed blood rite performed in desperation as Wayrest’s legions closed in. Lights still move behind broken windows, and the rusted gate opens on its own during storms.
