Kaela Vorn, Senior Station Administrator, serves as the primary on-site authority for Helios Reach under the mandate of the Credence Provisional Government. Her role bridges regulatory oversight and real-time crisis management—a necessity given the station’s environment.
Kaela’s authority is absolute within operational parameters. Dock priority assignments, emergency refueling overrides, evacuation orders, and station lockdowns all pass through her office or her delegated systems. While Credence policy provides the framework, enforcement at Helios Reach is shaped by Kaela’s experience and discretion.
It is widely understood among station personnel that she values continuity over optics. Ships that follow procedure are processed efficiently. Ships that don’t are delayed—not out of spite, but caution. Kaela has little patience for heroics that endanger infrastructure, and even less for recklessness disguised as confidence.
Her presence provides the station with something rare so close to a star: predictability.
Shadowward Dock’s refueling operations are overseen by Harlan Pike, a long-tenured supervisor whose familiarity with the station predates several hardware revisions. Though not an administrator, his authority over active refueling cycles is functionally uncontested.
Harlan serves as the final human check between ship and star.
While automated systems handle the majority of fuel transfer processes, Pike retains manual override authority during docking, intake calibration, and emergency abort scenarios. His decisions are rarely questioned, and when they are, the results tend to reinforce his judgment.

All commercial exchange aboard Helios Reach is mediated through CONSORTIUM NODE: “ARCHWAY”, the station’s centralized trade and logistics AI. ARCHWAY operates continuously across all station zones, accessible from any authorized terminal or interface.
ARCHWAY is not an authority in the political sense. It does not issue orders, enforce laws, or intervene in station security. Instead, it provides structure—managing fuel contracts, material exchanges, berth leasing, and transaction arbitration within Credence-approved parameters.
The AI’s neutrality is intentional. ARCHWAY is incapable of favoritism, persuasion, or moral assessment. It optimizes for efficiency, legality, and continuity of trade. This makes it simultaneously trusted and resented by different station populations.
