NATURE OF INCIDENT: Multiple Missing Persons / Suspicious Circumstances LOCATION: Camp Silverlake, Cabin 3 (Boys' Dormitory)
NARRATIVE: At approximately 06:30 hours, camp counselors reported the absence of eight (8) male juveniles from Cabin 3. Upon arrival, Officers found the cabin empty of personnel. Personal effects (luggage, coats, boots) remain undisturbed near bunks.
Observations:
No signs of forced entry.
CRITICAL: Fresh snow fell overnight (approx. 4 inches). There are no footprints exiting the cabin windows or doors. The snow around the cabin is pristine. It is as if the subjects vanished from their beds.
Subject Donna V. (Age 16) was found sitting on the steps of the adjacent Girls' Cabin. Subject was wet (clothing soaked in freezing water) and in a catatonic state. When questioned about the boys, she repeatedly stated: "The lake wanted them back."
ACTION: Search parties organized. Dragging of Silverlake to commence immediately pending icebreaker equipment. Donna V. taken into custody as Person of Interest.
