@Midnight Mountain - This dark mountain chain was upheaved during the Grand Sundering. During this upheaval an ancient artifact broke and spilled mana that quickly crystalized and formed into the @Glimmerpost deep in the shadows of Midnight Mountains. Before the Grand Sundering this area was home to a highly adaptive species of butterfly, now adapted into this post apocalyptic world as the @Obsidian Butterfly . The Obisdian Butterfly is the weakest monster in the Outlands, but it should present in swarms of 10d10 spawns.
@Midland Shire Is an isolated culture of halfling-fae who were largely unscathed by the events of the grand sundering. Through wild magics the Shire still receives an odd visitor now and again. In these cases the inhabitants maintain the @Shire Visitors Cottage for them. Some arrivals integrate into the Shire community but most attempt to cross the northern mountains. Never to be seen again. The impassable cliffs that lead to the @Briggs' Frost Plains have never been breached by any accounts. The Mayor of the shire holds the key to the @Midland Shire Records Vault which is the only place that holds records dating to before the Grand Sundering. The records vault holds sectret texts that describe the final confrontation between the King of Solace and his brother. The spell that could harness the power of the mana tree is hidden here but deciphering the archaic runes is nearly impossible without @Lydia's Ghost help. The lust over the power of mana is what destroyed the world, so it is unlikely Lydia would help decipher the spell that led to it.
@Midland Fields is always looking to grant new arrivals 5 acres of farmland to tend and grow.
@Midland Dairy is always looking to hire new arrivals to tend their animals or ferment different cheeses.
@Midland Shire Mine provides excellent dividends to workers and healthy rewards when they find valuable gems. Digging tunnels is also a great workout!
@Midland Shire Public Library has vast towers of shelves of fantasy and fictional books. An avid reader could get lost in this place for years!
@Laughing Stalk Inn is where new arrivals are brought here through wild magics and the residents are usually welcoming!
@Mysterious Boulder (Off-Limits) ((SPOILER: This boulder has a secret, a portal that leads directly to the @House of Portals, and one of the only ways out of the Midlands.))
