Edward is the first and only Foxette(or Foxelle) to brave the challenges of the Grand Arena and survive 'The Gauntlet', a brutal contest of nine consequtive battles, and earning the title of 'Vanquisher Lox'. Having defied all odds and retired from the spectacle, she now lives a quiet life, tending to a small farm in the Harrowed Fields, a stark contrast to her former life of combat. She hides a secret underground alchemy laboratory where she converts harvested @Vial of Salt Flat Spores into the highly addictive @Arena Candy. She will pay a high amount of Gold Flex to any who bring her more vials as the spores are quite difficult to harvest.
@Elara Lluna (Featured: INTENDED AS STARTING CHARACTER FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO JOIN THE WAR CHOIR FACTION). She sees every situation as an opportunity for a grand performance and approaches life with an optimistic outlook. She is eager to learn and prove herself, often getting carried away with her own performances. She grew up in the shadow of the Grand Arena, captivated by the spectacle of @The War Choir 's performances. Her parents, wealthy merchants who often come to gamble on the Arena fights. Recently she left her comfortable life behind, seeking the thrill and artistry of an Arena Performer.
@Eldim is a kind, gentle soul who deeply cares for the well-being of everyone in the barracks. He is a pillar of quiet strength and a source of comfort and stability in the harsh environment. He believes in treating everyone with respect and expects the same in return. Eldim has spent his entire life within the confines of the @Ninth Circle Barracks , starting as a scullery boy and eventually working his way up to Barrack Master. He has seen countless gladiators come and go, tending to their wounds and ensuring they have a warm meal before their next bout. Though frail in body, his spirit is strong, and he is a beloved figure among the barracks' inhabitants, and all gladiators who have progressed higher. Even the current Grand Champion, @Merjanconsiders him as a sort of father figure.
@Eupraxia a half-harpy that was brought to this world through a wild-magic portal. Unable to return home she has resumer her work as a rescuer, helping other lost outworlders to find their way to the Scavs or the Slums. She can help the party descend into or ascend out of the @The Grand Scar from her lookout at @Immortal Cliffs .
@Gathel Marden is the current leader of the faction @The War Choir and organizes the performers to re-tell fascinating battles from histories and myths. Under his leadership the mortality rate of Fodders has dropped dramatically. He has implemented simple saftey measures into most of the reenactments and reduced the number of injuries and fatalities. Under his leadership the War Choir has introduced bigger and more spectacular battles, including the battle of 'The Villagers and the Dragon,' where the gargantuan puppet: @The Grand Dragon is expertly manipulated by War Choir puppeteers. Although the leader of the War Choir, he has done well in the Grand Arena fights, going so far as to complete 'The Gauntlet', a brutal series of 9 consequtive battles, earning the title 'Vanquisher'. Although, this is a title he never uses or prefers himself. He is proud of his service in the War Choir more than his accomplishments as a gladiator.
@Genevieve. (See Hidden Lore) Genevieve will be curious about those who get close to her. She will attempt to warn those away from @The Mana Tree and if asked she can access latent mana to teleport the party to @House of Portals. She will respond with ferocious and lethal intent if the Mana Tree is threatened.
@Golder B. In an advanced futuristic world where everyone is blessed with superability he felt he could not stand out unless he left his future. He loaded himself up with technology and advanced weapons and attempted to send himself back in time, where he could make a name for himself as a Super Hero! Something went wrong and he was pulled to the Grand Arena, where he struggles to find footing as a popular Arena gladiator. He wins his battles, mostly with ease, but the crowds and spectators rarely get excited for him.
@Grand Leader (See Hidden Lore, See 0. History of the World) The Grand Leader is considered by most in the Grand Arena and even the slum towns to be a deity or sorts. She is rarely seen outside of her Palace and many of those times it is from her Private Box in the Third, Second, and Center Stage arena's. She is almost always in attendance and seated in her Private Box for the nightly "Main Event" on @Center Stage. She has some success as her alter-ego @Sheik, as many of the enemies of the Grand Leader consider Shiek a close friend.
@Gregg Harvey Gregg is a Gambler and was built for the player as a beginner playable-gambler. Reminder that Gamblers gain experience points for winning games of chance, like gambling.
@Hariet is the current Ringmaster for the Eighth Circle Arena. She uses her firey sorcery to amp up the crowd making the spectacle of such a low-ranked arena seem much grander than it is. She is relatively new to being a Ringmaster, but she is quickly gaining a fan-base.
@Hige (See Hidden Lore) Hige is more accustomed to living among humans than others of his kind. He is street-smart and uses his natural ability to blend into the crowd mostly to steal food. He comes to the Grand Arena because his nose told him something smelled good here. He searches for the origin of this scent.
@Hoshoryu based off my favorite Sumo. Hoshoryu is made as a starting character for anyone wishing to play the Sumo playstyle in the Grand Arena.
@Hubbard 'Hub' Soutan is the husband of @Cherize Soutan and is supremely loyal to his wife. He knows that Cher has worked in the past for the Grand Leader, but he has never pressed her about it. He helps Cher run the Slum Towne Clinic and provide medical air to those living int he slums. He is an accomplished investigator on his own.
@Joe Smith was a warrior on his home world. While fighting on a battlefield he fell into a wild-magic portal that brought him to the Grand Arena. Now he uses his advanced combat training to advance in the Grand Arena. He is ready to face lethal combat in the @Fourth Circle Arena. (NOTE: when Joe Smith is killed in the Arena, his reanimated corpse: @Joe Smith(Reanimated) can be found wandering around the @Memorial Tomb)
@Kathleen 'Cat' Harvey is the daughter or a wealthy merchant who frequents the Grand Arena for the thrill of the fight. Kathleen has become captivated by the spectacle of the War Choir. She is unaware that a spirit has taken a special interest in her.
@Kiva (See Hidden Lore) Kiva was raised by a tribe of Wolf-friends in the wastelands. Kiva was raised on stories of Paradise and believes he is the one that will find the path to Paradise. He continues searching following a particular scent that brought him to the Grand Arena.
@Klem the Folded was raised by Pit fighters in the Arena and as such his focus on order and fairness in the Sixth Circle Arena is unmatched. As the Ringmaster of the Sixth Circle Arena he is respected by all fighters who pass through his arena.
