Monster parts and their uses

The denizens of the slums outside the Grand Arena are crafy tinkerers who can make useful items out of most refuse and trash. So the specialized pieces of monsters and creatures can be used by many crafters to create items of significance. The primary area to find tradesman and crafters for these items is at @Slum Row but others interested in these items exist all throughout the slum towns although they will only work in trade and barter.

Within the Grand Arena, however is a different story, with many of these items being contraband and highly controlled. @Meryl "Derringer" Scope will pay you full price for these items if you approach her privately.

@Abomination Core found at the heart of a defeated @Sludge Lake Abomination the abomination core is a solidified mass of toxic chemicals, pulsing and glowing. Scav Shamans can harness the powers of the core to fuel powerful spells. Although crafters in the slums have not found a way to harness the core, they will still trade eagerly to get a chance to experiment with one.

@Scav Raider Ore is a crude metal ore mined in secret Scav tunnels. Usually being carried by @Scav Raider it is a valuable commodity as it is the only source of metal that isn't from the Grand Arena. A base ore it can be utilized by almost any craftsman as they would use iron for.

@Intact Desert Worm Chitin and @Pristine Desert Worm Skull are found on the corpses of slain @Desert Worm. The chitin can be fashioned by armor crafters into durable armors. Some Scav's use this chitin to create small desert dwellings. An intact and pristine skull is a valuable trophy of your mastery over the beasts, but it is of little use to crafters.

@Sand Kraken Beak pried from the slain corpse of a @Sand Kraken this impossibly hard beak can only be manipulated by the most Masterful of crafters. Extremely difficult to work with it makes a valuable trophy. If a smaller weapon, such as a dagger or boomerang, is made with this material it will gain the Indestructible trait.

@Vial of Salt Flat Spores living spores harvested from a @Salt Flat Spore Bloom. it is highly prized for its raw psychoactive affects, but some alchemists can concentrate the spores into a potent poison. @Edward Lox is the only one who knows how to refine the spores into the highly addictive @Arena Candy .

@Briggs Ice Giant's Claw an intact hand of a slain @Briggs Ice Giant. Hard and cold it can be used to make elemental weaponry, jewelry to protect against heat and fire, or be used to provide cold temperatures to an area. One of these claws is owned by @Cherize Soutan and used to keep certain medical potions cold and preserved.

@Buzzard-Wasp Wings and @Buzzard Wasp Venom are pieces harvested from slain @Buzzard-Wasp. The wings are highly prized for tailors as they make light iridescent clothing, perfect for nobles night-wear. The venom, difficult to harvest is highly corrosive, highly valued for crafters and alchemists for its acidic nature.

@Pristine Obsidian Butterfly Wing are harvested from slain @Obsidian Butterfly but their hard and sharp nature makes them brittle making them difficult to collect as whole pristine pieces. If they are chipped or broken they are worthless. Weaponsmiths, alchemists, and wizards prize these intact wings for their delicate and specific properties. @Hubbard 'Hub' Soutan has a set of small ultra-sharp scalpels made from these wings he uses for delicate surgeries.

@Mote of FrostHeart can be carved from the 'flesh' of a slain @FrostHeart. These motes can be used by crafters to imbue items with cold resistance.
