NonLethal Arena Fights

In the Fifth - Seventh Circles combatants can choose to participate in non-lethal bouts. These prize fights pit two honorable combatants together in a contest. Usually a contest of strength most times a battle to knockout. Certain traditions only exist in these circles as a contest of pure strength between two combatants. The Sumo Class are the primary participants in this contest. A non-lethal Sumo contest is played on the center of a 15 meter diameter ring, each combatants only task is to push the other combatant out or knock them prone. The one still standing is the victor.

When two combatants agree to participate in a non-lethal fight, they can agree on the terms of the contest: Knockout, Sumo, or the player/party can suggest another contest. Simple strength contests can be as simple as arm wrestling. Simple Dexterity contests can be akin to a game of chase/tag or a footrace. Contests that test a persons constitution could be holding a large weight for longer than the other opponent. Contests can even be suggested that test a players intelligence or wisdom if the player/party suggests an option. Every once in a while the various Arena Ringmasters might have a bout of insults and jokes to curry favor with the audience, engaging in a contest of charisma!
