Being 'touched' by a god: an individual 'touched' by a god, is someone who manifests powers from birth of divine touch. Being touched by the sanctified gods Pyrion or Thalyra is considered a blessing. Being touched by one of forbidden gods (Vaelith, Nytheris or Morghain), is considered heresy by the Sacra Vigilia, and is refered as "forbidden touched".
Dual touched: They are living contradictions—mortals born beneath the gaze of two gods at once. In Isola, this is almost unheard of. The blessing of both Pyrion and Thalyra is revered as divine harmony made flesh, while any Dual Touched bearing the mark of the forbidden gods are hunted as heretics, walking proof that the old balance was never fully erased. Unlike other Touched, Dual Touched do not manifest a single, dominant aspect. Their power exists in tension, overlap, and unstable synthesis.
Sacra Vigilia: a theocratic militant order founded after the War of the Five. Its doctrine declares any magic outside the sanctioned gifts of Pyrion (fire) and Thalyra (water) as forbidden. The order hunts practitioners of other divine gifts—Air, Earth, Shadow—and seeks to eliminate or neutralize them. It operates through two branches: the Sealers, who enforce law with fire‑and‑water rites, and the Illuminates, who study forbidden magic to understand and destroy it. Their mission is to protect the world from heretical magic and preserve the divine order, and they actively pursue and suppress magic users deemed unapproved.
