In the ancient past of this world Dragons, Giants, God's, and many other Mythical monsters roamed the lands. This time came to an end when the now ancient first demon war began. The demons brought their gods and released many monsters upon the world. Eventually the higher powers of Nazeran won beating back the demons losing many of their kin and tainting others. They killed 7 of the ancient 10 demon gods crippling the power of the demons, at the cost of the gods sealing themselves in the higher realm. The giants due to the losses collapsed as a species slowly devolving into the modern few subspecies. The dragons having killed 3 of the demon gods lost almost all of their species and went into hiding. Many of the oldest dragons and giants of the modern day are the young that survived this war. This war devastated the world but as a few thousand years have now passed it has mostly recovered. Though with the new wave of demons the higher powers are stirring again.
