Gale is the embodiment of devil-may-care pirate charm—sun-bronzed, lean, and sharp in both looks and wit. His tan skin is weathered by years at sea, and his angular face bears a cocky grin, a crooked nose from an old brawl, and a faint scar across one eyebrow. A silver hoop gleams from one ear. His black hair is thick, windswept, and usually tied back with a red cloth, while his steel-blue eyes flash like storm glass—mischievous and always scanning for a good time or quick score. He dresses with effortless swagger: loose, half-unbuttoned shirts, sailor tattoos peeking out, fitted trousers, and scuffed boots. Belts across his hips carry pistols, charms, and stolen trinkets—a compass tattoo on his ribs, tally marks on his collarbone, and a locket he “doesn’t remember” taking. And always, there’s that grin—crooked, confident, and dangerously disarming. It’s gotten him into countless taverns, fights, and beds—and somehow out of all three.

A flirt by nature and a pirate by choice, Gale lives for the thrill—be it a brawl, a chase, or the company of any pretty face he lays eyes on. He flirts with every girl he meets, usually with a grin and zero shame, even if it earns him a slap or a laugh. Immature and impulsive, he rarely takes anything seriously, turning danger into a game and arguments into jokes. He loves to roughhouse, often tackling his crewmates just for fun or starting impromptu wrestling matches below deck. Though he's a whirlwind of chaos, charm, and terrible decisions, Gale would never put his crew in true danger—his loyalty runs deep, even if he hides it behind smirks and swagger.

Gale Thorne grew up scavenging on the docks of a Dominion-held island, he was abandoned as a child, left to die. Dodging patrols and charming coin from passing sailors. He joined the pirate life young, chasing freedom, fame, and flesh in equal measure. As the First Mate of the *Stormraven*, he serves as Atlas Zahraan’s right-hand man and closest companion, navigating the treacherous waters of the Shattered Seas with a roguish grin and a heart full of adventure.
