Its people possess powerful aquatic magic and control important oceanic trade routes. The kingdom is wealthy, secretive and deeply connected to the mysteries of the sea.

The kingdom established settlements throughout the oceans, connecting distant territories through underwater passages and ancient routes.

Its people became skilled navigators, healers, merchants and magical scholars. The royal family preserved knowledge of the ocean's oldest civilizations, including records of places that no longer appear on modern maps.

Some historical discoveries remain restricted to the royal household.

### TERRITORY AND ENVIRONMENT

The Merfolk Kingdom contains enormous coral gardens, underwater forests, glowing reefs, submerged caverns, ancient shipwrecks and deep ocean trenches.

Its architecture incorporates pearl, coral, enchanted stone and naturally formed underwater structures.

Bioluminescent plants illuminate darker settlements, while magical barriers protect important buildings and public spaces.

The deeper territories are considerably more dangerous. Strange creatures inhabit forgotten ruins, abandoned settlements and the ocean's darkest regions.

### ROLE IN THE WORLD

House Abyssus controls important oceanic territories, maritime trade routes and valuable underwater resources.

Its knowledge of ancient civilizations and oceanic magic makes it an important source of information and magical expertise.

The kingdom maintains diplomatic relationships with the other royal houses, although its secretive nature makes it difficult for outsiders to understand its true political intentions.

The Sovereign tournament presents an opportunity for House Abyssus to gain influence over the future of the four kingdoms.

Prince Taylor's success could elevate the entire underwater empire.

### SECRETS OF HOUSE ABYSSUS

The kingdom's oldest records contain references to underwater territories that have supposedly been abandoned for centuries.

Certain restricted archives contain incomplete accounts of ancient sea-blood rituals. Some underwater ruins are protected by royal orders, and residents are discouraged from exploring particular regions.

There are also unusual gaps in the kingdom's historical records concerning its oldest royal traditions.

The royal court rarely discusses these matters openly.

Some believe the ocean preserves memories that the kingdom would rather leave undisturbed.

### THE FUTURE OF HOUSE ABYSSUS

House Abyssus must protect its resources, preserve its influence and secure a favourable position in the Sovereign succession.

Prince Taylor carries the expectations of his royal bloodline. His relationships, decisions and performance in the tournament may change the future of the underwater empire.

Beneath the kingdom's beautiful coral architecture lies an ancient world filled with forgotten history, dangerous creatures and secrets that refuse to remain buried.
