Elves have lived in the Aelthorn Forest forever and have rarely left. They have survived the Great Cataclysm by staying hidden and picking off any undead that wander into the forest.
Only a few elves decide to leave the forests and join human colonies.
Their culture is based around revering the nature and limiting their impact on it - not making any new inventions and instead living in harmony with the wilds.
