Aethelburg consists of "The Wardens of Humanity" faction and has three notable military forces:
The Enforcers are a simple militia tasked with patrolling the streets and keeping peace. They are paid a decent tithe and are dedicated to keeping streets problem-free.
The City Guard are the main defense force of the city. Made up of both drafted and volunteer men and women they have a wide variety of well equipped units to handle the threats that might fall upon the city.
The City's elite guard force, mostly tasked with protecting the castle and inner walls with a few stationed in the city itself. They are very well equipped, adorning pauldrons painted blue and are trained extensively.
