Kingless Road

Summary of Who They Are

The @Kingless Road is made up of mercenaries, exiles, deserters, smugglers, fallen nobles, and outcasts from every culture. Membership is fluid and unrecorded. Loyalty is temporary and transactional. Many who follow the Road do so because they have been cast out or refused submission.


Territory and Control

They control no land, but move constantly along hidden routes, river paths, and forgotten roads. Their influence appears wherever borders meet and law breaks down. Temporary camps, safe houses, and neutral grounds form their network.


Structure and Culture

There is no central authority. Leadership emerges briefly during contracts or crises. Culture values personal freedom, reputation, and mutual benefit. Betrayal is common, but remembered.
