Climate and Geography
The Cinder-Spines are a jagged, hostile mountain range looming directly north of Vael-Kaelen. The environment is entirely shaped by volcanic activity and raw elemental heat.
The Weather: Constantly choked by thick, roiling clouds of gray ash, sulfurous smoke, and sudden, blistering heat waves. The air tastes of sulfur and iron, and thunderstorms here crackle with violent, purple arc-lightning fueled by the raw Flow leaking from the peaks.
The Environment: Jagged black obsidian ridges, bubbling lava flows, cooling magma tubes, and massive, smoking calderas that dwarf everything below. The ground constantly rumbles with subterranean pressure, and the terrain is entirely devoid of normal plant life, featuring only scorched stone and petrified remnants of ancient forests.
