Climate and Geography
The Iron-Tooth Peaks are a vast, brutal expanse of towering gray mountain ranges, jagged rock spires, and steep, wind-scoured chasms looming along the wild borders of the region. The environment is shaped entirely by extreme altitudes, dry alpine winds, and relentless stone slides.
The Weather: Bitterly cold at night and punishingly dry and blindingly bright during the day. Howling mountain gales sweep through the stone canyons, carrying sudden, blinding dust storms and sharp, freezing sleet that cuts across the skin like shrapnel.
The Environment: Sheer grey limestone cliffs, unstable scree slopes, deep rocky ravines, and sparse, wind-warped brush clinging to thin soil. Natural caves, narrow canyon passes, and hollowed-out stone dens honeycomb the lower ridges, providing ideal territory for the chaotic tribal orc warbands and cunning goblin clans that dominate the wilderness.
