The Seven Rings of Eternity

The Aetheric Vaults claim their seal-bands are inspired by the Seven Rings of Eternity, primeval relics forged in the elder days when gods walked the mortal plane. Each ring embodies a fundamental aspect of mortal striving:

  • First Ring of WisdomHidden in silence where no question dares echo.

  • Second Ring of LifeBuried deep, where roots drink from forgotten springs.

  • Third Ring of KnowledgeKept behind eyes that have seen too much.

  • Fourth Ring of WealthLocked beneath the earth, where kings count nothing but dust.

  • Fifth Ring of StrengthResting still upon the anvil no hammer can strike.

  • Sixth Ring of CharmLost in a kiss never meant to be remembered.

  • Seventh Ring of LuckTossed long ago upon a coin no hand dares to catch.

Though moderate in power alone, it is whispered that one who dares to unite all seven would ascend beyond mortality, becoming a demi-god walking upon the land. Yet such arrogance is said to draw the wrath of the divine themselves, for no god suffers rivals.

The Vaults never confirm whether the legend is literal, symbolic, or a warning disguised as myth. Their emblem — the keyhole encircled by seven rune-rings — is as much a seal as a reminder: power locked is safer than power claimed.
