Gembright is an amethyst dragon who used to call Sardoria her home, although most have forgotten those tales. The @Gembright Bay was named for her, back when she still appeared and mingled with the humanoid races of the region. Legends tell that after a great battle she needed rest and she has been referred to as @Gembright, the Slumbering Amethyst for that reason. Now only a select few know of the time when she helped guard the land, these include @Triumvirate of Sardior, @Freiliel, @Drema Brynnel, and @Lord Gregory Montblanc.
@Gembright, the Slumbering Amethyst is now resting after an intense battle of the gem dragons against Dagon’s forces in the area eons ago. She was wounded and after the battle was won, she went to rest in her @The Amethyst Nest Caverns that she dug below the @Sheepswell Lake. She still sleeps there while recovering.
Gembright used to live near @Hammerbreak-by-the-Brine, and some there believe her proximity is what fuels the @Plumpicker Amethyst veins in the mines. While most of @Plumpicker Mines – Upper Caverns have been cleared of amethyst, as the tunnels dive deeper into the @Plumpicker Mines - Lower Caverns more veins are constantly being discovered leaving speculations around Gembright’s continued residence in the region.
