The Northward goblins are native to the region and have lived in the area predating the foundation of @Drakafell, Hub of Sardoria and the @Barony of Sardoria. They lived in the northwest of the region, keeping to themselves as @Drakafell, Hub of Sardoria was initially settled and developed. The history books say there were years when the Northward goblins traded with the people of @Drakafell, Hub of Sardoria, however an age of war and bloodshed began when orc warbands came to the area and aligned with the goblins, arguing the hunting lands were being stolen by the @Sardorian Army. After many years of fighting the war dragged on with heavy losses, until @Lord Geralle Salorenth led a series of decisive victories against the Northward goblins and orc warbands. The orc clans were dispersed and disbanded, with stragglers leaving the area permanently. The Northward goblin survivors, however, retreated to the @The Whispering Downs building subterranean tunnel societies and gave up on the war.
They live in the @The Whispering Downs
They have had a soft truce with the @Sardorian Army for about 20 years since they lost a number of battles and were pushed back from most of the region
They recently have begun new incursions into the @Barony of Sardoria, threatening a new conflict with the @Sardorian Army
In the last five years there have been a number of targeted assaults against @Grovestand Orchard and @Whispering River Refuge, but they have been repelled
Scouting parties have recently been seen as close as @Flatcall, with some rumored sightings from civilians in @Drakafell Commons
They are secretly being influenced by the psionic abilities of the Whispering goblins and @Gul the Marked, pressing them towards a new war with the @Sardorian Army
