Seradess is the obsidian dragon who was banished from Sardior’s Court of Six Thanes. There are various rumors around her exile, whether she was destroyed by Sardior or just banished to a place where she still remains. As with most obsidian dragons, she was very intelligent, as well as arrogant and quick to anger, and sometimes cruel.

@Cult of the Faceted Tear

Followers of Seradess belong to the @Cult of the Faceted Tear, which include a sect of duergar, as well as obsidian Dragonborn and dragonkin. They are each in search of Seradess for their own reasons.

• Some believe they have heard her call and she is alive, guiding them through her psychic whispers in their mind.

• Some want revenge on Sardior and his followers for her banishment.

• Others just want to find her, believing she is being held by some unnatural force.

• Duergar who follow her believe she can lead them to riches in the Underdark that lie beyond their reach. They have a shared affinity for volcanic sites, where obsidian is often more plentiful.

Many followers often hold obsidian crystals as sacred shards that hold glimpses of Seradess’s secrets.
