Trust Value
Depending on the public perception of an individual, how they see them and the number of individuals who believe the same belief in that person, it becomes possible for an individual to develop superpowers. With those with a lot of public trust and fame typically having an easier time gaining superpowers and as such, people who do have them are usually celebrities, internet famous individuals or attractive individuals that attract public attention. Hero Agencies typically then chose to make these individuals into heroes due to them already having a lot of public trust and exposure.
Once a high enough Trust Value is formed from the trust of the public, it affects the overall abilities of a Hero and what kind of superpowers they develop.
As shown, all individuals in the world of To Be Hero X, can see the amount of Trust Value they acquire in real time on their wrist and of how much they have successfully acquired as a holographic number band.
Regardless of the unique abilities public perception grants, individuals with high trust value seemingly share the default ability of having superhuman physicality, such as enhanced strength, endurance, speed, stamina, agility, etc.
However, regardless of the superhuman powers and abilities heroes develop thanks to trust, due to how wide and sometimes extreme views public perception becomes, the tendency of unforeseen side effects due to having high trust also surfaces in high ranked heroes.
Trust value also decide the outcome of a fight between heroes. Given that a hero's strength is measured by the trust of the public, the difference between gaining and losing even a single trust point is big enough to change the entire course of a battle.
