Kaien Nozaru — The Veinwalker

Kaien is the forbidden child of an Oni priestess and a Momotaro exorcist — a being that should never have existed. His birth was seen as an omen of the world’s end; both factions sought to erase him, but fate hid him in a monastery forgotten by time.
Raised by monks who revered neither gods nor demons, Kaien learned to master both his inheritances. From the Oni, he inherited the Eclipse Veins — blood that reshapes matter through emotion. From the Momotaro, he gained Resonant Harmony — the ability to stabilize chaos through will.

Now he travels as the Veinwalker, preaching that both light and darkness are illusions born of the same heart.
But deep within, Kaien fears his prophecy: that the day he achieves perfect balance, the world itself will shatter to reflect his soul.
