Seraphine Aori — The Broken Saint

“To save the world, she must destroy the light that made her holy.”

Seraphine was once a divine prodigy of the Momotaro Order, her voice said to calm angels and command armies. But mercy — not hatred — became her downfall.
During the massacre of the Black Shrine, she defied her orders and spared a child Oni. Her hesitation led to hundreds of Momotaro deaths, and for that, she was branded impure.
Condemned to purification, her flesh was bathed in divine fire. Yet instead of burning away, her body absorbed the light, fusing holiness and pain into something neither divine nor mortal.

Now called The Broken Saint, Seraphine wanders between the ruins of both worlds, offering salvation through forgiveness — though her very touch can burn those she blesses.

Legends whisper that if she ever forgives herself, her cracked halo will collapse, and the world will lose its last remaining saint.
