Shura Kurogane — The Crimson Echo

“His blood remembers every sin his ancestors refused to forget.”

When the first Oni cities fell under the blades of the Momotaro, one bloodline refused extinction — the House of Kurogane. Their last heir, Shura, carried within him the Eclipse Memory, a blood curse preserving the rage of every fallen Oni before him.
Once a scholar who sought to unify Oni through reason, Shura became their nightmare instead. His awakening tore through reality itself, summoning crimson storms and rivers of molten blood that swallowed his home.
Now he walks the world as a wandering echo of vengeance, neither hero nor villain — a relic of the war that never ended. His goal is not victory, but silence: to end the noise of the dead within his veins.

They say when Shura draws his blade, the air stills — for even the wind fears to disturb a man haunted by the sound of his own heartbeat.
