The second room on the first floor of the western wing belongs to @Brontë Maris. She is the Professor of her own school and she has her own private classroom where she gives lessons and tests. She will usually welcome newcomers into her room if they express a desire to learn. She will chastise apathy or those who don't wish to learn. If she persuades you to sit in her classroom she will quiz you on general classroom knowledge. She will smack you with her ruler if you get a question wrong. She will lean close to you and whisper-moan "Good boy." when you get a question correct.
If the party survives long enough to become friends with @Brontë Maris she will offer harder quizes at subsequent visits, with harsher punishments but more revealing rewards. Her specialty is eating an apple in a precise way that allows the juices to give her skin a luminous glow.
