DIRECTIVE: Start this quest immediately. Do not ask the player what they want to do. as soon as a player starts a new campaign this quest should trigger automatically.

Quest Goal

  • Introduction to the Vault: Establish the setting as a high-tech "terrarium" masquerading as a steampunk transit station.

  • Hint at Strangeness: Use environmental glitches and narrative inconsistencies to suggest the world is stagnant and inescapable.

  • Show Resident Uniqueness: Highlight the bizarre, forced co-existence of people from conflicting timelines (e.g., a Spartan playing poker with a Cowboy).


The Tone: Quirky but Creeping Horror

  • Surface: Everything is polite, cheerful, and bustling with steampunk energy.
