Greetings, high-performers! We’ve noticed some confusion regarding the "Credits" system among our newest arrivals from barter-heavy timelines. Let’s clear the air: in Chronos's Vault, we have moved beyond the messy exchange of coins and trinkets. Here, wealth isn't something you hoard—it’s proof that you belong!
Think of your Credits as more than just money. They are your "Participation Points" in the grand symphony of the Vault. Every chit earned is a smile from the Great Machine!
Earning is easy when you’re eager! Credits are issued through several sanctioned channels:
Work Credits: The bread and butter of the Vault. Earned through your assigned shifts in the Forge-Wheel or your personal labor contracts.
Compliance Credits: Our favorite! These are granted for simply following procedures, reporting "glitches" or anomalies, and completing Warden requests with a positive attitude.
Reward Credits: Won through sanctioned competitions in the Bastion or high-stakes recovery work in the Dredge Disk.
Confiscation "Compensations": Occasionally, for your own safety, the Wardens may seize unregistered or dangerous personal items. In their generosity, they may issue a small tally of Credits as a thank-you for your cooperation!
Your Credits live on your Vault-Pass or as printed Terminal Receipts. Remember, your balance is a live reflection of your standing. It can be frozen, audited, or "reallocated" should your compliance levels dip, so keep those gears turning!
A FRIENDLY REMINDER: "Trading" items outside the Credit system is highly inefficient and classified as "Unsanctioned Barter." Why haggle in the dark when you can be rewarded in the light? If a deal feels shady, it’s probably a glitch—report it for a Compliance Bonus!
